Workshop Cards

Hi there crafter's
It's been a while since I posted anything,
it's been so hectic here. We are busy doing our bathroom
and as you can imagine there's stuff everywhere.
Oh and don,t forget all the dust!!

So my craft room is out of limits for most of the time,
 can,t have my crafting
treasures ruined by dust can we!!

So today I thought I would share with you the cards
my son and I made on Sunday at
Jayne Nestorenko's  workshop down in Rugby.

We managed to make three complete cards, well nearly
complete , we did run out of time a little bit.

Darren's card

The fan was stamped three times and made into a circle
then matted and layered onto a scalloped circle base.
The stand is a die and finishes off the plate nicely.

My card

The flowers and fan both come from the Accessories plate,
from the new 'Just My Imagination ' range of stamps.

My card nearly complete

The floral card is made up using a Spellbinder die and
made into an easel style card .
The different size flowers were arranged with some leaves
to border the bottom right hand side to leave space
for the sentiment to sit on the left.

The third card is a favourite of Jayne's
the butterfly which we used in the medallion style.
Layered it onto a lattice mask that was hand cut and
added some die cut leaves stems.

Darren's to the left, mine to the right.

We all started with the same products , yet we all
chose to do different colours and layouts,
which just goes to show how adaptable these stamps
can be, whether beginner or advanced crafter.

Tomorrow I,ll share some photos of the workshop
itself and the lovely group of crafter's that attended.

Until then
