Girls on the bench

Good morning everyone and thank you for popping by.

Today I am sharing a card that I have made
using the ... Girls on the bench... image,
which I absolutely love.
A perfect image to send to a best friend or relative of any age.

The card base was created using the Spellbinder scalloped circles
dies, with the large circles for the matting layers.
So simple to create but quite effective too.
I have cut two of the largest size, scored the top inch of the back one.
Then I glued the tops together so that it would stand on its own.

Top tip..... make sure you get a twin pair of scollop's
at the bottom for the card to 'sit' on, this will stop it from rocking over
and helps to keep your image straight.

I,ve added glue dots to each scallop. I just love the effect this gives,
it adds texture and depth to the card and
can be any size you wish, just brilliant.

I have kept my colouring to blue tones adding in the odd yellow
and green for the flowers etc.
I aimed for a fresh spring card, do you think I succeeded??

What have you made with your stamps?

The designs are by Jayne Nestorenko and are available
direct from her website shop along with lots
of other goodies.
Why not pop along and take a look, the glue is there too!!

until the next time
