Here Boy!

Hi there crafter's
Today I am sharing with you a card that I have
made using the Boy, dog and frog stamp plate

by

Jayne Nestorenko

from her latest collection of
'Apple of my eye'
designs.

It's so lovely to have some male images for a change
and so beautiful and easy to use.
As usual Jayne has made sure that they are versatile,
giving us many options to tell our own stories with the images.

Above I created a simple 6x6 square green card base,
on which I have matted and layered some decorative
backing paper, slightly inking the edges to give definition.
To add interest and depth I have added an extra triangle layer,
which I have also matted with the same decorative paper.
I then added a strip of a hessian type ribbon
to keep it male themed, to which I added
some Cosmic Glue dots and a die for the sentiment.
The smaller designs look brilliant as a extra embellishment
for the edge of the smaller die cuts, such as when using a sentiment.

I used what I call the cloud! die for the main images
and layered this onto matching green card.
I decided to have the dog trying to eat the crisps
that have spilled from the packet ,to give a bit of humour and the boy looking on.
Any young child with a pet would relate to this design
and hopefully bring back many happy memories for us older children!

Have you got your stamps yet , if not they are
now available from Jayne s website at a special introductory price.
Why not pop over and take a look

Have a lovely day crafting
until next time
