Summer Crafting

Hi there crafter,s

Its been a while since I have had time to post anything,
but I just had to share my experience of
 Summer crafting in Doncaster.

The lovely Jayne Nestorenko gave Darren and myself the chance
to see what it was like to be at the other side of a crafting event.
It was a very hot weekend , very tiring but one of the best experiences
I have had for a loooonnnngggg time.

It was such an honour to be able to help
my good friend promote her designs .
To laugh and joke with everyone was such a joy and
until then I had forgotten how much I missed working in the craft shop,
which has now unfortunately closed down.
Anyone who does this as a job , has the best job in the world.
It was Jayne who got me into stamping and who would
have thought that one day we would be very good  friends and that
I could help her out in this way and was thrilled to do so.

I was lucky enough to meet many of my facebook friends,
which was really special, along with some of Jayne's workshop
ladies who had travelled a long way to visit the show.

Jayne is such a special lady, loved and respected by many.
If I had a pound for every time someone said how lovely
she was I wouldn,t need to buy a lottery ticket thats for sure. lol.

Here's Paul, Jayne's husband busy filling up the boxes
before the show reopened.

Here's Jayne, Daz and myself after the show had ended
and we were all packed up and ready to go.

We were sorry to see them go after spending
a lovely weekend in their company.
The house seems too quiet now after all the laughter.
So now we need to look forward to the next workshop
down in Rugby.

until next time
