Inking Techniques

Hi there crafter's

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather
we are having at the moment. Summer has finally arrived.
Let's just hope its staying around for a while, lol.

Well we had a brilliant time down in Rugby last
month at Jayne Nestorenko's first workshop of the year.
We made the booklet with Jayne that I shared in
my last post. So this time I wanted to share with you
the toppers we made with the lovely and talented Helene.
She us just a whizz at inking techniques and the sessions with
her are just brilliant. Daz in particular enjoys these sessions.

Above is the first one we did, which involves stamping
and embossing in white fine powder, then inking over.

For the second one we learnt how to plan and mask
areas for the card topper.
We created our own scenery in the background which is
surprisingly simple and I have to admit very effective.

The stamps we used were by Inkylicious I do believe
and were very effective for this kind of scene building.

Here is Darren's wonderful topper, how brill is that.

We will be trying this technique again without a doubt,
 have you tried it?

until next time

jens xx
