 Hello Crafter's

Hi there everyone, just letting you know that I haven,t
fallen off the face of the earth!! lol

Just been sooooo busy moving my Dad into another property
and with all that goes with it, stress was at a high!

I hope you managed to buy your copy of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine
which was on sale on 21st March. With a freebie set of stamps from the
magnificient  Jayne Nestorenko.

If you missed it you still have time to grab yours , you,d hate to miss out
on the exclusive set of stamps to complete your collection.

Did you see Jayne on Create and Craft , on the 27th March at 11am and 7pm.
It was the launch of her latest collection of
'Apple of my eye'
designs. A fantastic collection of realistic children ,
3 male themed stamp plates and 3 girl themed stamp plates ,
perfect for any member of the family and special friends.

Why not pop over to Jayne's website to see the whole collection.

I will be sharing with you some lovely cards made by
myself and other members of Jayne's design team.

Todays card is from the Car wash collection, which includes
two separate boys washing a jeep/landrover style car.
Sentiments are included, allowing you to create numerous scenes.

I created the card base using a Spellbinder die keeping to
just three colour ways. I used silver mirror card to give a shiney watery
feel to it. I stamped direct to card to create the scene and chalked in the background clouds.
For the foreground I used Promarkers and dotted them to give the effect of gravel.
I added cosmic coloured glue to add interest to the base and highlight the corners of the topper.

A card that would be suitable for any male or female friend or family member.

To show how different they can look if different colours are used
and different card styles, I am also going to add two cards by other design team members.

This card was created by Hellen Pearce and is beautiful.

The following card was made by Wendy Foster and again shows
even more versatility.

What will you make with yours??
I do hope you will share your creations with us
on Jaynes
Time for tea with Jayne Nestorenko ....   facebook page.

So now I,m back in blogland I aim to post a card at least three times a week.
Hope to see you again soon

until then
love Jen xx
