Jayne's September Workshop

Hi there crafter's

Don't tell Jayne lol, but I've pinched one of her photos of
her last day workshop down in Rugby last weekend.
Crikey was it only last weekend !!

We had a lovely day meeting up with Jayne , Helene and all our fellow crafter's.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
We were split into two groups , one group working with Jayne learning painting
techniques with H2O's and then swopping over to Helene's group in the afternoon.
Helene was using Jayne's Evergreen Tree and Reindeer Trio stamp sets ,along
with Distress inks to create some stunning scenes.
I loved doing this technique it looks so complicated but is quite easy to achieve
once you know the tricks of the trade, so to speak.

Here are one of the designs we did with Helene, mine to the left and Darren's to the right.
We were all using the same stamps but every single person's
card topper looked different. I find that amazing !!
The photo is a bit blurred , sorry about that as it is really crisp in real life.

Again the picture is not very clear but I hope it shows how different
the scenes can be using the same designs.
I will definitely be trying this again and we only used one distress ink too!

So now that's all the one day workshops finished for this year, just the weekend retreat
to look forward to and it won,t be that long either. October the 12th and 13th
at the Holiday Inn at Crick near Rugby are the dates we need to remember.
Not that I,m likely to forget as we are looking forward to it too much.

Well that's all for today

until the next time
